Valon Technologies has raised a $150 million Series D at a $2.3 billion valuation, which the company says roughly doubles its previous valuation. Ribbit Capital joined as a new investor, alongside existing backer Andreessen Horowitz and other prior investors.

Valon describes itself as an AI-native operating system for regulated finance, starting with mortgage servicing. The company says it has more than $200 million in contracted annual recurring revenue for its ValonOS platform and is under contract to power servicing for roughly one in six outstanding U.S. mortgages — a company-reported figure.

From servicer to software

Founded in 2019, Valon first built and operated its own licensed national servicer, Valon Mortgage, to prove the platform at scale. Carrington Mortgage Services completed its acquisition of Valon Mortgage about two months before the raise. Two of the ten largest U.S. servicers — ServiceMac and Carrington — are now live on ValonOS, and Rithm Capital's Newrez is also a client.

The new capital will fund product development and hiring across engineering, product, deployment and go-to-market roles in New York, San Francisco and remote positions.
